Experienced Baker and Pastry Chef, Part-time
Masha’s Bagels is looking for an experienced baker and pastry chef to join our team. You should have at least 2 years of experience as a baker making breads and pastries in a professional kitchen. Bonus points for familiarity with bagels and other Jewish breads and pastries (such as challah and rye). Flexible availability, especially in the early mornings, is also a must.
You have:

Experience (at least 2 years) working in a bakery or professional kitchen that makes its own breads and baked goods

Ideally some familiarity with bagels and/or Jewish breads and pastries such as challah, babka, rugelach, etc.

Experience writing and testing recipes for new breads and pastries

A can-do attitude: we are still a new shop and independently owned so making use of small spaces and finding ways of working with the equipment we have is essential

Flexible availability, especially in the early mornings (shifts typically start at 6am) and on weekends

Fluent English skills (German not required, but it doesn’t hurt!)
We offer:

An hourly wage of €13,5 - 16 depending on experience with a full-contract (monthly salary is also possible)

18 - 28 hours per week
